Project Planning: Timeline

Considering the relatively short time in which I have to complete this project, it is vital to set out a clear project timeline with planned contingency and application testing. This will enable me to track the project’s progress, adapt scope (if necessary) and deliver the project more efficiently/effectively.

The project consists of 4 major aspects including the following:

  • Design
  • Development
  • Testing
  • Deployment

However, the project’s scope is much larger than four simple sections. I have therefore identified tasks that are grouped under a number of project activities. By identifying these tasks at this early stage of the project, I will be able to work more logically and track progress more effectively.
